Nearly 100 candidates take the Cambridge English certificate exam

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 15, in Vinh City, AsemLink International English Center in collaboration with EUC International English Training Center (a legal entity authorized to organize Cambridge English exams including 6 levels from A1 to C2 according to European standards for 6 provinces of the North Central region) held the opening ceremony of the Cambridge English certificate exam.

Attending the event were representatives from the Department of Education and Training; Department of Planning and Investment; Provincial Children's Fund; Vinh City Department of Education and Training and many parents and students.

This is the first time Vinh city has organized an English certificate exam according to the Cambridge European Language Proficiency Framework. The exam attracted nearly 100 students from AsemLink International English Center and a number of students from primary to high schools in the city. In this exam, candidates took English certificates at many different levels, such as YLE Starters, YLE Movers, YLE Flyers, KETFS and PETFS.

The organization of the Cambridge English exam for the first time in Vinh city has affirmed the efforts of AsemLink International English Center with the determination to promote English teaching and learning according to the Project "Teaching and learning foreign languages ​​in the national education system, period 2008 - 2020" according to Decision 1400/QD-TTg, dated September 30, 2008 of the Prime Minister; at the same time, contributing to the successful implementation of the national foreign language project for the 2013 - 2014 school year of Nghe An province.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, candidates taking the YLE Starters, YLE Movers, YLE Flyers, and PETFS certificates entered the examination room to take the challenging test in all four skills: listening, reading, speaking, and writing. The afternoon session was reserved for candidates taking the KETFS certificate. Cambridge English certificates are globally recognized, have a permanent validity, and are a “passport” to help students confidently integrate into the world.
