This is the first time Vinh City has organized an English proficiency certification exam based on the Cambridge European Framework of Reference for Languages. The exam attracted nearly 100 students from AsemLink International English Center and several students from primary and secondary schools in the city. In this exam, candidates took English proficiency tests at various levels, including YLE Starters, YLE Movers, YLE Flyers, KETFS, and PETFS.
The organization of the Cambridge English exam for the first time in Vinh City affirms the efforts and commitment of AsemLink International English Center to promoting English teaching and learning in accordance with the "Foreign Language Teaching and Learning in the National Education System, 2008-2020" project as per Decision 1400/QD-TTg dated September 30, 2008, of the Prime Minister; and at the same time contributes to the successful implementation of the national foreign language project for the 2013-2014 school year in Nghe An province.

A large number of candidates participated in the exam at the opening ceremony.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, candidates taking the YLE Starters, YLE Movers, YLE Flyers, and PETFS certificates entered the examination rooms to complete challenging tests covering all four skills: listening, reading, speaking, and writing. The afternoon was dedicated to candidates taking the KETFS certificate. Cambridge English certificates are globally recognized, valid indefinitely, and serve as a "passport" to help students confidently integrate into the world.
