Nearly 100 athletes participate in Thanh Chuong football festival in Da Nang

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 21, in Da Nang City, nearly 100 athletes attended the opening ceremony of the 4th Thanh Chuong (Nghe An) Association Traditional Football Tournament in 2016.

The Organizing Committee presented flowers and souvenir flags to the participating teams.

This is a traditional men's mini football tournament for fellow countrymen from Thanh Chuong district who are living and studying in Da Nang.

The 4th Thanh Chuong Traditional Football Tournament in 2016 was organized by Nghe Tinh Business Association with the participation of 5 football teams representing 5 high schools in Thanh Chuong district: Thanh Chuong 1, Thanh Chuong 3, Dang Thai Mai, Dang Thuc Hua, Nguyen Sy Sach.

The purpose of the tournament is to develop the sports movement, improve health, and at the same time create a playground for exchange, learning, sharing experiences and connecting hometown feelings in the city of Han River. The tournament will end on August 27, 2016.
