Nearly 12 years in prison for 5 people buying, selling and storing drugs
(Baonghean.vn) - On March 2, at the center of the border commune of Keng Du, the People's Court of Ky Son district held a mobile trial of 3 criminal cases on illegal drug trafficking and possession with a total sentence of nearly 12 years in prison.

According to the indictment of the People's Procuracy of Ky Son district, the defendants Kha Van Kham (born 1986), Luong Van Quang (born 1982), Luong Van Bun (born 1982), Kha Van Phan (born 1977), all residing in Xop Thap village, Huu Lap commune, and defendant Luong Van Dai (born 1992), residing in Hom village, Huu Kiem commune, Ky Son district, were caught red-handed by the functional forces of Ky Son district while illegally storing and trading drugs.
The People's Court of Ky Son district sentenced the defendants Kha Van Kham and Luong Van Quang to 27 months in prison, the defendants Luong Van Bun and Kha Van Phan to 26 months in prison, and the defendant Luong Van Dai, who committed the offense for the second time. Previously in 2012, Luong Van Dai was sentenced by the People's Court of Ky Son district to 27 months in prison for drug trafficking and possession, so the panel of judges sentenced him to 30 months in prison.
