Nearly 150 Nghe An enterprises equipped with professional skills in bidding

Continuing activities to support business development, on the morning of September 27, in Vinh City, Nghe An Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center opened a training course on professional bidding skills for the business community.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Nghe An Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center (NAPC).

The class was attended by nearly 150 students representing businesses that regularly participate in bidding and tendering in the area.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Manh Loi - Director of Nghe An Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center emphasized the significance of the training course for business development. Accordingly, the 2023 Bidding Law has many new points, the bidding field is expanded to many fields, not only the field of investment and public asset procurement as before but also many other fields.

This is an opportunity for private enterprises to approach; enterprises, especially small and medium enterprises, need to grasp to develop their business, at the same time limit the obstacles in the bidding process, avoid mistakes that cause loss of business opportunities. The class will update knowledge and make money so that later the Center will coordinate with related units to check and grant certificates of participation in bidding for enterprises in need.

During the two days of September 27 and 28, businesses in the province were directly informed by Dr. Do Kien Vong - Deputy Director of the Academy of Policy and Development, Ministry of Planning and Investment about regulations related to bidding expertise and operations, including: Basic bidding process, operations to prepare for bidding; operations to participate in bidding online; analyzing competitors in bidding, handling bidding situations for bidders; risk management in bidding for bidders, identifying, analyzing and assessing risks when participating in bidding, common risks in bidding activities and prevention methods for bidders; common errors and violations of bidders and advice for bidders; ensuring integrity and handling situations in bidding...

Through the method of exchange and discussion, the lecturer will suggest common situations when participating in bidding and students/enterprises will, from their actual participation in bidding, ask questions and make suggestions for the lecturer to answer, find solutions and handle based on the regulations.

At the training course, the lecturer from the Academy of Policy and Development, Ministry of Planning and Investment also emphasized that according to the newly passed Law on Bidding 2023, the process and requirements for information on bidding and bidding are all public and transparent on mass media, national bidding information portal...; acts of bid collusion or information concealment or lack of transparency are strictly prohibited by law; bidding enterprises that violate the law will, at the lightest level, be eliminated from the bidding, banned from bidding for a certain period of time or, at the most serious, be considered for criminal prosecution, so before and during the bidding process, they must know and grasp it firmly.

In addition to answering questions about avoiding violations in bidding or competitor analysis skills, the lecturer also introduced in detail the 2023 Bidding Law, which will take effect from January 1, 2024, with many new regulations added and amended compared to the previously issued Bidding Law. Businesses need to grasp this to avoid having their bidding documents rejected and missing out on business opportunities.
