Nearly 20 Song Lam Nghe An players join PVF-CAND youth team

In order to create quality human resources for the first team, PVF-CAND Club decided to establish a PVF-CAND youth team to compete in the 2024 National Third Division.

However, currently, the PVF-CAND youth team only has 12 players left who can compete in the Third Division. So to ensure enough players to form a team, PVF-CAND decided to borrow 18 players and 1 coach fromLam River Nghe An.

Specifically, among the 18 players joining the youth teamPVF-CANDOn this occasion, there are 13 players from the U19 team and 5 players from the U17 Song Lam Nghe An team. Notably, among the Song Lam Nghe An loan force, there are outstanding players such as: Hoang Minh Hoi, Nguyen Tan Minh, Tran Quoc Hoa, Truong Van Tan Sang... These are the core players of the U19 Song Lam Nghe An team expected to participate in the 2025 National U19 Tournament. In addition, 3 Nghe An players who are playing for the U17 Vietnam team participating in the 2024 U17 Asian qualifiers are: midfielder Bach Trong Duong, Le Tan Dung and defender Tran Dong Thuc, who are also on loan from the PVF-CAND youth team to play in the Third Division.

In particular, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hieu, who is a member of the Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center, was also borrowed by the Public Security team to serve as head coach of the PVF-CAND youth team.

Talking about the benefits of lending players to PVF-CAND, Mr. Tran Quang Dung - Director of Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center shared: "Our agreement to lend players to PVF-CAND brings many benefits to both the center and the athletes. Because when participating in the Third Division tournament, the players will have more experience, thereby accumulating more battle experience. In addition, competing in this tournament is like a training session for the Song Lam Nghe An U19 Team to prepare for the 2025 National U19 Tournament".

National Third Division 2024, gathering 16 participating teams. The tournament is divided into 2 groups A and B based on geographical area.

PVF-CAND youth team will compete in group A with the following teams: Nam Dinh Youth, Dong A Thanh Hoa Youth, Hanoi Police Youth, Quang Ninh FC, Zantino Vinh Phuc, Hoai Duc FC, Dao Ha Football Center.
Meanwhile, group B has the participation of Can Tho, LPBank Academy Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Gia Dinh, Phu Yen, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai Youth, Becammex Binh Duong Youth and Ho Chi Minh City Youth.

The teams will compete in a round-robin format to determine the rankings in each group. The 5 teams including 2 first-place teams, 2 second-place teams and 1 third-place team with the best results in the 2 groups will qualify for the 2025 National Second Division Football Tournament.

Currently, the tournament has gone through 2 rounds, in the opening match, PVF-CAND Youth Team was held to a 0-0 draw by Quang Ninh; in the second match, PVF-CAND Youth Team excellently defeated Nam Dinh Youth Team with a score of 2-0. In which, player Nguyen Tan Minh of U19 Song Lam Nghe An scored 1 goal, the remaining goal was an own goal by Nam Dinh defender.

Also in each past match of PVF-CAND Youth Team, there were 6-7 players from Song Lam Nghe An in the starting lineup.

Thus, with 4 points after 2 matches, PVF-CAND Youth Team is currently ranked 2nd on the rankings. In the 3rd match taking place on October 30, PVF-CAND Youth Team will face the team leading the table, Hoai Duc./.
