Nearly 20 million VND from Nghe An Newspaper readers went to two sisters who lost both their parents at the same time.

As of April 22, readers of Nghe An Newspaper have sent a total of 19,250,000 VND to help Thai Thi Duyen and Thai Ba Nam - the two children of Thai Ba Tam and Nguyen Thi Dai who recently passed away.The case at Doi Cung 1 hamlet, Ky Son commune (Tan Ky district, Nghe An) on April 13.

Mr. Thai Ba Dung - representative of the family of Duyen and Nam said that after Nghe An newspaper published the article, many readers from all over contacted the family to express their condolences and provide cash support to the family. Among the donors, a reader named Lan living in Hanoi, after reading the article, called Duyen and Nam's relatives.

"Mr. Lan said that he himself had many sad stories in his family and wanted to help those in difficult and unfortunate situations. Then he sent 4 million VND to help a little bit so that Duyen and Nam could continue to go to school," said Mr. Dung.

Among the dozens of readers who sent support, many sent 50,000 VND, 100,000 VND but with sincere words of encouragement. According to relatives of Nam and Duyen's family, the burial has been completed. Duyen and Nam were also sent to their uncle's house to study, and now they have returned to school. Representatives of Tan Ky High School said they will propose policies to exempt and reduce fees, and support Nam and Duyen to finish high school./.
