Nearly 20 universities have announced the minimum scores for the competency assessment exam.
Nearly 20 universities have announced admission floor scores based on the results of competency assessment exams. Foreign Trade University has set the highest floor score.
Specifically, Foreign Trade University sets the highest floor score, respectively 100/150 for the HSA exam of Hanoi National University, 850/1200 for the APT exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University, and 60/100 for the TSA exam of Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
For HSA, Hoa Sen University has the lowest minimum score at 67/150. For APT, the lowest score is 500, applied to some majors of Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy. For TSA, the minimum score is mainly 50 or 60 points. This year's scores are generally similar to last year.

In 2025, the whole country will have about 10 capacity and thinking assessment exams organized by universities, of which the three exams of Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City National University and Hanoi University of Science and Technology will be the largest in scale.
According to the score distribution of the two HSA exams of Hanoi National University with nearly 30,800 candidates, the average score was 80.2/150, an increase of about 3-5 points compared to last year; the valedictorian scored 130/150.
For the Hanoi University of Science and Technology's thinking assessment exam, the average scores of the two rounds were 54.54 and 54.39/100 respectively, with the top scorer getting 98.61.
In the exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University, more than 126,000 candidates had an average score of 618.4/1,200, down about 25 points compared to last year; the valedictorian scored 1,060 points.
There are 1-2 more rounds of national university exams and it is expected that about 100 schools will use these results for admission.
Candidates should note that the current floor score is still calculated based on the original scale of each exam, not the official admission score. Schools will convert the score to the common scale after having the score distribution of the high school graduation exam.
