Nearly 24 trillion VND from retail sales in Nghe An.

(Baonghean.vn) - Total retail sales of goods in Nghe An province in the first six months of 2017 are estimated at VND 23,476.84 billion, an increase of 12.36% compared to the same period last year.

Broken down by retail product group, the food and beverage group accounts for the largest share with estimated revenue of VND 7,443.9 billion in the first six months (accounting for 32% of the total), an increase of 17%;

The group of household goods, tools, and equipment reached VND 2,717 billion, an increase of 10.72%; the group of wood and construction materials reached VND 1,645.6 billion, an increase of 10.1%; automobiles of all types reached VND 3,784.63 billion, an increase of 12.47%; and petroleum products reached VND 2,118.2 billion, an increase of 4.86%.

This growth is a positive sign, boosting the development of various industries in the province. According to forecasts, the retail sector is expected to see even more positive developments in the remaining months of 2017.

To support commercial services, the transportation sector meets the needs of goods transportation and people's travel, with estimated transportation revenue reaching 3,818.07 billion VND, an increase of 7.22% compared to the same period last year.

Simultaneously, mobilized capital of credit institutions in the area increased by 7% (+6,440 billion VND) compared to the beginning of the year; total outstanding loans of credit institutions in the area increased by 6.7% (+9,677 billion VND) compared to the beginning of the year, of which medium and long-term loans accounted for 62.5% of total outstanding loans; non-performing loans accounted for 0.7% of total outstanding loans.
