Nearly 24 trillion VND from retail in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - Total retail sales of goods in the first 6 months of 2017 in Nghe An are estimated at 23,476.84 billion VND, up 12.36% over the same period.

By retail group, the food and foodstuff group accounts for the largest proportion with estimated 6-month revenue reaching 7,443.9 billion VND (accounting for 32% of the total), up 17%;

Household appliances, tools and equipment group: VND 2,717 billion, up 10.72%; wood and construction materials group: VND 1,645.6 billion, up 10.1%; automobiles of all kinds: VND 3,784.63 billion, up 12.47%; gasoline and oil: VND 2,118.2 billion, up 4.86%.

The above growth is a positive signal, promoting the development of industries in the province. According to forecasts, retail services in the last months of 2017 are expected to have more prosperity.

To serve commercial services, the transportation sector meets the needs of transporting goods and traveling of people, with estimated transportation revenue reaching 3,818.07 billion VND, up 7.22% over the same period.

At the same time, the mobilized capital of credit institutions in the area increased by 7% (+6,440 billion VND) compared to the beginning of the year; the total outstanding debt of credit institutions in the area increased by 6.7% (+9,677 billion VND) compared to the beginning of the year, in which the outstanding debt for medium and long-term loans accounted for 62.5% of the total outstanding debt; bad debt accounted for 0.7% of the total outstanding debt.
