Nghe An Provincial Police's Economic Police Department has just coordinated with Hoang Mai Town Police to detect and arrest a case of transporting animal organs of unknown origin.

At 2:00 p.m. on October 14, 2016, in an empty lot in Hoang Mai Industrial Park, Hoang Mai Town, the authorities discovered a truck running North-South, driven by Nguyen Truong Son, born in 1974, residing in Tan Thanh Ward, Ninh Binh City, Ninh Binh Province, showing suspicious signs, so they conducted an inspection.

Upon inspection, it was discovered that the vehicle was carrying 2.7 tons of animal organs wrapped in plastic bags and packed in foam boxes, including products such as hearts, kidneys, pig's feet, intestines, etc. that were emitting a foul odor.

The internal organs were rotting.

At the time of inspection, the driver could not present documents proving the origin and food safety certificate.

Driver Nguyen Truong Son confessed to transporting the above organs from Ninh Binh to Nghe An for sale. The case is currently being investigated, verified and clarified by the authorities.
