Nearly 3 million tons of goods passed through Cua Lo port
(Baonghean.vn) - Many factories in the Southeast Economic Zone have gone into stable production, which is the reason for the high increase in the volume of goods passing through Cua Lo port in the first 11 months of the year.
According to a report from Nghe Tinh Port, the volume of goods passing through the port since the beginning of the year has reached 2,946,015 tons, an increase of 17.9% over the same period in 2016, reaching 92% of the 2017 plan.

Of which: Exported goods reached 943,873 tons, up 27% over the same period in 2016 and reaching 89.7% of the assigned plan; Transit goods reached 119,447 tons, up 52% over the same period in 2016 and reaching 77% of the assigned plan; Imported goods reached 84,935 tons, reaching 83% over the same period in 2016 and reaching 98.5% of the assigned plan.
Analysis of increased output shows that: Some goods exported through the port increased in large volumes such as animal feed of various series (reaching 80,784 tons, an increase of 119% compared to the same period in 2016). The reason is that since the beginning of 2017, factories in the Nam Cam Industrial Park, Nghe An such as Mavin Ausfeed, Cargill, Hope, Anco... have been operating stably, the demand for raw materials has increased, contributing to the growth of this item.
Clinker goods reached 213,956 tons, an increase of 72.68% over the same period in 2016. Coal goods reached 307,223 tons, an increase of 39.48% over the same period in 2016. Sand goods reached 73,907 tons, an increase of 642% over the same period in 2016. However, due to the nature of sand goods, which only collect money per ton, the revenue of this item did not increase significantly.
Some other items such as fertilizer, potassium, and bulk cement also increased.
