Nearly 300 million VND to support 2 orphans in Nghia Dan

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 11, the People's Committee of Nghia Trung Commune (Nghia Dan) organized a donation of more than 128 million VND to support 2 orphans in the commune.

This is the amount of money donated by agencies and units inside and outside the district for two children Luong Quynh Nga and Luong Quynh Nhu in hamlet 13, Dong Can, Nghia Trung commune, whose father Luong Van Viet and mother Tran Thi Bien passed away in a traffic accident on July 28.

After Nghe An newspaper published the tragic situation of the families of Nga and Nhu, many agencies, units, organizations, individuals and readers called and sent money to support the two children whose parents unfortunately passed away. Up to now, the amount of money donated to the two children is nearly 300 million VND, of which the district Fatherland Front supported 10 million VND, the rest is the amount of money from agencies, units and benefactors.

Previously, the People's Committee of Nghia Trung commune also launched a call for support from benefactors to help this unfortunate situation. In particular, the Executive Committee of the commune Youth Union received support from organizations and individuals.
