Nearly 4 tons of imported food without invoices in frozen storage
Quoc Huynh Company Limited only provided 10 invoices and documents for frozen products. The remaining nearly 3 tons of food did not have invoices and documents and nearly one ton of frozen food did not have a clear origin.
On January 17, the Market Management Department of Can Tho City announced that it had just sent a document to the People's Committee of Can Tho City requesting to fine Quoc Huynh Company Limited (located in Ninh Kieu District) VND 267 million. At the same time, nearly 3 tons of food were confiscated and nearly one ton of frozen food (including: thighs, wings, gizzards, chicken feet, ribs, hearts, pig feet...) was destroyed.

According to authorities, this amount of food imported from abroad includes violations such as: frozen food warehouse without signs, no certificate of food safety and hygiene, imported food without invoices, documents, origin...
Accordingly, on January 4, the Environmental Police Department, Can Tho City Police in coordination with Market Management Team No. 3 of the Market Management Department of Can Tho City discovered a car with license plate number 65C-016.06 driven by Mr. Huynh Quoc Thai (31 years old), transporting 60 boxes of frozen food (including chicken, chicken gizzards, fish) from the food warehouse of Quoc Huynh Company Limited but without invoices, documents, or origin.

Checking the company's frozen warehouse, the authorities discovered a large quantity of food of many types, but Quoc Huynh Company Limited could only provide 10 invoices and documents for the frozen products. The remaining nearly 3 tons of food had no invoices and documents, and nearly one ton of frozen food had no origin.
