Nearly 400 athletes participate in the Sports Festival for Ethnic Minorities in Nghe An Province
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 18, in Quy Chau district, the Department of Culture and Sports coordinated with the People's Committee of Quy Chau district to organize the opening ceremony of the 2021 Nghe An Province Ethnic Minority Sports Festival.
Attending the opening ceremony were leaders of the Department of Culture and Sports, Quy Chau district and representatives of 11 mountainous districts of Nghe An province.

ContestSportsethnic minority, Nghe An province's mountainous region in 2021 has the participation of nearly 400 athletes from 12 delegations from 12 mountainous districts and towns including Ky Son, Tan Ky, Que Phong, Quy Chau, Quy Hop, Nghia Dan, Tuong Duong, Anh Son, Thanh Chuong, Con Cuong, Quynh Luu and Thai Hoa town.

The competition takes place from April 18 to 21, 2021. Athletes compete in 6 events for both men and women including volleyball, crossbow shooting, shuttlecock throwing, tug of war, stick pushing, and stilt walking.
