Nearly 500 workers and laborers in Nghe An received gifts at the program 'Tet Sum Vay - Spring Sharing' 2024

On the morning of January 21, Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Sharing" in 2024.

Attending the program were comrades: Pham Tat Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Minh Dung - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Inspection Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Kha Van Tam - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, together with representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies, the Party Committee of the Enterprises and related units.

“Tet Sum Vay” is a program with profound humanistic meaning that has been maintained and organized by trade unions at all levels for many years. Through that, many activities to care for the interests of workers and laborers have been effectively implemented, contributing to the Party Committee, government, departments, branches and organizations in social security activities.

This is also an opportunity for the Trade Union to promptly commend workers and laborers who have made efforts to compete in production and labor.

2023 is a year full of fluctuations with the recession of the global economy. This leads to many difficulties in the working life of workers and laborers. However, with a sense of responsibility and determination to overcome difficulties, many workers and laborers have risen to excellently complete their assigned tasks.

In recognition of such efforts, at the program, the People's Committee of Nghe An province awarded Certificates of Merit to 30 outstanding workers and laborers who had achieved many high achievements in labor and production.

Also at the program, 10 union shelters were presented to workers and laborers in difficult circumstances.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, President Vo Van Thuong presented 200 gifts to 200 workers and laborers in Nghe An province with especially difficult circumstances, each gift worth 1.3 million VND.

The Central Committee for Mass Mobilization also presented 100 gifts to 100 workers and laborers in Nghe An province with especially difficult circumstances, each gift worth 1.3 million VND.

Speaking at the program, the Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that this year's Giap Thin Spring, with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet", it is expected that about 23,000 union members and workers will be cared for and supported by Nghe An Labor Union at all levels with money and gifts worth nearly 20 billion VND, taken from the union activity fund and calling for and mobilizing socialization.

At the program, the Provincial Labor Federation presented 250 gifts to workers and laborers, each gift worth 640 thousand VND.

The Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor hopes that from this program, workers and laborers will understand and trust the union organization more. From there, they will actively participate in building a strong union and perform their tasks better at the enterprise in the coming time./.
