(Baonghean.vn) - In the first 9 months of 2016, the Provincial Social Policy Bank has disbursed about 700 billion VND to 25,000 near-poor households, raising the total outstanding debt of this program to 1,497 billion VND, an increase of 225 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year; with about 60,000 households still having outstanding debt.
Currently, the average loan amount per household under the near-poor household credit program is more than 30 million VND, with a maximum loan amount of 50 million VND per household. Loan capital is used by households to invest in developing large-scale livestock and poultry farming, aquaculture, raw material forest planting, small-scale business and trading, etc.

According to the synthesis of the Provincial Social Policy Bank, the credit quality of this program is very good, monthly interest income reaches approximately 100%, overdue debt of the entire branch is only 354 million VND, accounting for 0.02% of outstanding debt of the credit program for near-poor households.
