Nearly 60 tons of oranges consumed at Vinh - Nghe An Orange Fair 2017
(Baonghean.vn) - After 3 days of organizing the Vinh - Nghe An Orange Fair 2017, booths displaying orange products sold nearly 60 tons of oranges.
According to the Department of Science and Technology of Nghe An, after 3 days of organization, the Vinh - Nghe An Orange Fair 2017 was a great success and exceeded the set goals.
Participating in the fair were 46 booths from the districts: Quy Hop, Nghia Dan, Yen Thanh, Nghi Loc, Thanh Chuong, Tan Ky, Anh Son, Con Cuong and Vinh City; including 36 booths of more than 30 organizations, associations, farms, households producing oranges and 10 booths of units supplying input equipment for orange trees.

Statistics show that during the 3 days of the fair, about 15,000 people from inside and outside the province came to visit and shop. The orange products alone sold nearly 60 tons of oranges of all kinds at the fair, with a revenue of about 2.4 billion VND.
Some local stalls sold a lot such as: Yen Thanh oranges sold nearly 5 tons of fruit, Con Cuong oranges sold more than 3 tons of fruit...

In addition, at the fair there are many products made from oranges: orange peel jam, orange soap, orange wine... Materials for growing and caring for oranges are also sold in quite large quantities.
The fair's organizing committee awarded the first prize in booth decoration to Phuong Thao High-tech Agriculture Company Limited; the first prize in presentation went to Xuan Thanh Agriculture Company Limited./.
