Nearly 700kg of chicken wings, thighs, and squid smelled bad and almost ended up in a drinking place.
The team inspected, discovered and temporarily seized 500 kg of chicken thighs and wings and 138 kg of squid that had changed color, expired and emitted a foul odor.
On the afternoon of April 27, the Environmental Police Department (Ha Tinh Police) discovered and temporarily seized nearly 700 kg of food including chicken thighs, wings, and expired, rotten squid at a frozen facility in Ky Anh town.

It is known that the above expired goods were discovered by the Department of Market Management in coordination with the Ky Anh Town Police and the Market Management Department at the Thang Hien frozen facility owned by Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien (born in 1974, residing in Song Tri Ward, Ky Anh Town).
Here, the delegation inspected, discovered and temporarily seized 500 kg of chicken thighs and wings and 138 kg of squid that had changed color, expired and emitted a foul odor.
According to an officer of the provincial Food Safety Department, all the chicken thighs and wings in the warehouse have expired for a year and are of foreign origin.
Currently, the authorities are clarifying and handling all of the above unsafe food according to the provisions of law.
Previously, on April 25 and 26, the Food Safety Department also discovered and temporarily seized more than 2 tons of rotten and expired food including poultry, organs, beef bones... at a Ha Huong livestock cooperative (in Van Thinh block, Van Yen ward, Ha Tinh city).
