Nearly 900 Nghe An students register for Hanoi Medical University
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Department of Education and Training has just released the initial results on the number of applications for the 2018 National High School Exam. The results showed many unexpected surprises.
According to statistics, Nghe An province has 31,578 candidates registered for the National High School Exam. Of these, 1,667 are independent candidates.
Also through synthesis, out of 31,578 candidates registered for the exam, there were 12,501 candidates registered for the exam only for graduation, accounting for 39.59% (nearly 5% higher than previous years). Ethnic Minority High School 1 and Ethnic Minority High School 2 are the 2 schools with the rate of students registering for the exam for university admission reaching 100%.
Besides, there are also many schools where the percentage of students registering just for graduation is from 90 - 100% such as Mai Hac De High School (Nam Dan), Nguyen Van To High School (Dien Chau), Nguyen Thuc Tu High School (Nghi Loc), Le Doan Nha High School (Yen Thanh) and Continuing Education Centers.

Regarding the number of subjects registered for the exam, in addition to the compulsory subjects of Math, Literature, and Foreign Language, the registration rate is nearly 100%, the remaining subjects are dominantly subjects in the Social Science Subject Group.
Specifically, in the subjects of the Social Science Subject Group, 21,392 students registered for History, 21,101 for Geography, and 19,684 for Civic Education.
In the Natural Science Subject Group, the number of students registered for Physics is 11,096 students, Chemistry is 11,320 students and Biology is 10,974 students.

Regarding wishes, Vinh University is the school with the largest number of registered candidates with 8,971 wishes. Next are the National Economics University (3,554), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (3,034), Hanoi University of Industry (2,633), and University of Commerce (2,418).
Hot schools such as Hanoi Medical University have 860 registered students, Foreign Trade University has 921 students, Vinh Medical University has 2,058 students, People's Security Academy has 182 students, Hanoi University of Pharmacy has 184 students. The remaining universities in Vinh City have from 300 - 800 registered candidates.
Among the candidates who registered for admission, 2,502 candidates only registered for 1 choice. However, the number of candidates who registered for 16-20 choices was also not small. In particular, there was a candidate in Nghi Loc district who registered for 29 choices in almost all subject groups.
According to the plan, although the deadline for registration is April 20, the Ministry of Education and Training allows candidates to correct their applications until April 25.
