In response to concerns from some journalists about the reality of many projects attracting foreign investment, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa expressed his opinion that in attracting investment, one cannot be hasty, but must look to the future.
"There are trees that can be harvested in just 2 months, and there are trees that take 5-10 years, but once the first harvest is done, the next season will be continuous, making up for the previous 5 years of care," the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee likened.
Nghe An also does not attract investment at all costs, but determines to attract investment by mobilizing resources to build a synchronous infrastructure system and good industrial park infrastructure.

From now until the end of the year, the province will try to direct 3 projects in VSIP Industrial Park to come into operation. I believe they will create a stable source of income for us."

Previously, the representative of the Department of Planning and Investment summarized the socio-economic situation of Nghe An in the first 9 months of 2019. However, it is forecasted that for the entire 2015-2020 term, Nghe An is currently facing the risk of having 3 difficult-to-achieve targets for the term. These are the GRDP target, the budget revenue for the entire term and the average income per capita.
GRDP from 2016 - 2018 only reached 8%, of which the target for the term is 9-10%. Budget revenue in 2019 is estimated at 15,100 - 15,500 billion VND/target is 25,000 - 30,000 billion VND by 2020. The average income target in 2020 is 70 million VND/person, but in 2018 it only reached 38 million VND/person, estimated to reach only over 40 million VND/person in 2019.
