Khanh is the son of Tran Dai Sy (born 1986) and Nguyen Thi Huong (born 1990), residing in Hamlet 14, Thanh Ha Commune (Thanh Chuong). For a long time, people have been admiring and telling each other, comparing the 4-year-old boy to the "child prodigy" of the locality.

Talking to strangers, Gia Khanh is not shy at all. When we invited him to play a puzzle game, this 4-year-old boy took less than 1 minute to successfully arrange a zigzag, upside-down pipe that is very difficult to imagine in the game.

The boy was considered a "prodigy" by the people.

Mr. Tran Dai Sy said that Gia Khanh only plays puzzle games and is very interested in watching intellectual TV shows. In his free time, he often plays alone and plays many roles at the same time such as: audience, MC, supporting character, even the role of a clock; asking and answering himself. In particular, Khanh loves reading books, every time he goes to his neighbor's house, whenever he sees a study table, he goes to look and borrows books from his older siblings to read.

“Gia Khanh is not like other children. He was almost 3 years old but still could not speak, his family was very worried because they thought he had some kind of disease. Miraculously, when Khanh turned 3 years old, he suddenly started to babble, then read numbers. A few months later, Khanh memorized the alphabet, read paragraphs fluently and wrote. From a child who was slow to speak, he learned to speak, read and write earlier than normal children, which made my wife and I both happy and worried; but seeing our child “eating well and sleeping well” made the whole family feel at ease,” Mr. Sy shared.

At the age of 3, Khanh could speak and read numbers at the same time.

The child's father said that when he was 3 years old, Khanh could speak and mumble numbers, then count from 1 to 100 and count back from 100 to 1. During this time, the child could also do math, add and subtract odd and round numbers. "At about 3 and a half years old, we accidentally discovered that he could read when he held a wedding invitation card in the middle of the table and read it aloud without any mistakes. We were so surprised that my husband and I tried giving him a phone and a book to read, and he could read it all," said Ms. Huong, Khanh's mother.

Gia Khanh can read lowercase letters fluently but when writing he only writes in uppercase.

Since learning to read, Gia Khanh has been trying to learn to write in his own unique way. He uses toothpicks or dry branches to break them into small pieces and then put them together to form letters; he also uses charcoal or chalk to write letters on cement floors.

For more than half a year now, Khanh’s handwriting can be seen everywhere in the garden and on the walls of the house. The special thing is that Khanh can read lowercase letters fluently, but when writing, he only writes in capital letters. Khanh cannot read compound letters such as: gh, th, ng, ch, but he can read words made up of compound letters such as: chair, that, shy,…

Not only can Gia Khanh read and write fluently, he also has a very good memory. He can memorize any phone number for a long time after only looking at it once. At the same time, he can also read trillions of numbers quickly and fluently.

According to Mr. Sy, because Gia Khanh is still young, his family did not teach him early and let him learn according to his own ability.
