Meeting with 200 ethnic minority children and children in difficult circumstances, good students
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of August 3, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Pioneer Council organized the program "Meeting ethnic minority children and children with difficult circumstances who strive to excel in their studies in Nghe An province in the 2017-2018 school year".
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Cao Thi Hien -Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thanh Hien - Provincial Party CommitteeMember of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Pham Tuan Vinh - Member of the Central Youth Union Standing Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors and 200 delegates of ethnic minority children and children in difficult circumstances of Nghe An province.

200 young pioneers and children were recognized as typical examples of ethnic minority children who have made efforts to overcome difficult circumstances and strive to excel in their studies. They were sponsored by the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Youth Union Council, and assigned to 35 affiliated youth union units for long-term support, with plans for each stage, from when they were young until adulthood.

In addition to their excellent academic achievements, they are also key players, leading the way in the Team activities organized by the province and district, actively participating and winning high prizes in competitions such as "Clean notebooks, beautiful handwriting", "Excellent Team Leaders and Talented Star Leaders"...

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Council said: "Meeting ethnic minority children and children in difficult circumstances who have strived to study well in Nghe An province this year is not only a meeting, exchange, and commendation of 200 ethnic minority children and children in difficult circumstances, but also creates a spreading power, social effects, and arouses the core moral and humanistic values of the Vietnamese people in general and of Nghe An in particular".
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Le Van Luong also requested that the units and grassroots organizations of the Youth Union assigned to take charge of and help the children promote the highest spirit and enthusiasm of youth, the superiority of the Youth Union organization, regularly care for and look after the children, and create miracles as the purpose and meaning of the program has set out. That is to change the fate of a person in a better direction.
