Meeting with young intellectuals about to become Vice Chairmen of poor communes.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 20, 2014, at the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union organized a meeting with young intellectuals who will serve as Vice Chairmen of communes. Attending the meeting were Comrade Le Xuan Dai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives from the Department of Internal Affairs, other departments and agencies, and 26 outstanding young intellectuals holding the position of Vice Chairman of communes.
The project "Selecting 600 outstanding young intellectuals with university degrees to serve as vice chairmen of commune People's Committees in 62 poor districts" aims to strengthen the qualified human resources to assist commune Party committees and authorities in poor districts in organizing and implementing the Program for Rapid and Sustainable Poverty Reduction. Our province has selected 26 young intellectuals with university degrees to serve as vice chairmen of communes in Tuong Duong, Que Phong, and Ky Son districts.

The meeting aimed to encourage young intellectuals, inspire their dreams, and promote their pioneering spirit, volunteerism, creativity, and dedication in participating in new and challenging tasks at the local level. It also provided an opportunity for young intellectuals to express their thoughts and aspirations, make suggestions and recommendations to the Party committee, government, and the Youth Union, as well as to support them in successfully completing their tasks.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Le Xuan Dai welcomed the proactive volunteer spirit of the 26 young intellectuals. He hoped that this would be an opportunity for each young intellectual to improve their professional skills and expertise, cultivate their willpower and character, unleash their creativity and youthful enthusiasm, and demonstrate their volunteer spirit to create achievements that will change the face of areas that have long been plagued by poverty and hunger. He also stated that good opportunities will be available to those who strive and dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to the development of their homeland.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, Comrade Le Xuan Dai presented practical gifts to poor children in Tuong Duong district and meaningful gifts to 26 young intellectual members of the Youth Union.
