Meeting with Nghe An Propaganda officers through the ages

Over the 90-year history of construction, growth and development, the Party's Propaganda sector has played a key role in building and fostering the Party's political and ideological foundation, disseminating Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's thought, the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws to cadres, party members and people of all walks of life.

Inheriting and promoting that tradition, in recent years, the Propaganda Department of Nghe An province has closely followed the assigned tasks, focusing on advising the Party Committee to effectively direct political and ideological work. The Department has coordinated well in implementing the work of educating political theory, ideology, ethics, and revolutionary traditions; consolidating and improving the political capacity, ethics, and lifestyle of cadres, party members, and the masses.

Entering the period when the country is promoting international integration, the Nghe An Propaganda Department has affirmed its role and is an important force on the front of Party building in terms of politics, ideology and ethics. Effectively advising and implementing the work of Party building and rectification, preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, ethics and lifestyle; promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and lifestyle and the project to enhance exemplary behavior, combating conservatism, waiting and dependence among cadres, party members and people of Nghe An.

Currently, the cadres working in propaganda in Nghe An are actively innovating the content and form of propaganda work, advising the Party Committee to resolve issues of public concern; implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, socio-economic development tasks, national defense and security, Party building and the political system; advising on propaganda and organizing celebrations of major holidays and historical events of the country and locality.

In recognition of these efforts, the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has been awarded many prizes, certificates of merit and emulation flags by the Central Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for many consecutive years. Of which, the typical one has been ranked excellent by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee for 3 consecutive years. The Party Cell of the Propaganda Department has been recognized for many consecutive years as strong, excellent and received the emulation flag awarded by the Prime Minister on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Party's propaganda sector.

At the meeting, delegates who were officials of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department through the periods contributed many important ideas to improve the effectiveness of the province's propaganda work to overcome difficulties and challenges in the face of the information explosion of the era and the complicated developments of the world and regional situation.
