Meeting with contributors to the Vinh City Newsletter.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 6th, the Vinh City Party Committee organized a meeting and discussion with contributors to the Spring 2015 newsletter to review the year's activities and look forward to 2015 with more diverse programs.

Comrade Nguyen Hoai An – Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee – presided over the meeting.

At the meeting, the Propaganda Department of the Vinh City Party Committee reviewed the work and tasks of the 2014 newsletter, highlighting noteworthy achievements: It firmly adhered to political objectives, reflecting the city's outstanding activities in the fields of politics, culture, socio-economics, and national defense and security. It attracted a large number of dedicated and passionate contributors from diverse professions, especially retired key officials residing in wards and communes throughout the city. The newsletter continues to be updated in form and content, focusing on disseminating resolutions and laws of the Party and State to the people through sections such as: Party building, new rural development, following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh, building a green, clean, and beautiful Vinh city, examples of good people and good deeds... Although it is the newsletter with the largest circulation in the district-level newsletter system, it still faces difficulties in gathering and mobilizing news articles; the economic section is underdeveloped, the quality of articles is not yet guaranteed, it has not attracted young contributors, and many grassroots Party organizations have not yet participated...

In 2015, the Vinh City newsletter continued to maintain its established sections, added new sections such as "Highlights of the Term," "The Country and People of Vinh City," etc., and improved the quality of editing.

Many opinions suggest that in 2015, the city should focus on prominently publicizing the achievements of the term at the grassroots level, with more engaging and multifaceted articles reflecting the city's socio-economic and cultural aspects, and introducing its attractive tourist destinations...

On behalf of the city's leadership, Comrade Nguyen Hoai An – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee – thanked the collaborators for their dedicated contributions, acknowledged the concerns they had raised, and expressed his hope that in the future, the collaborators would continue to cooperate more enthusiastically with the newsletter, contributing more engaging articles reflecting the changes in the city so that good models would have an even greater impact.
