On March 6th, at the 654th Transport Regiment, the Regiment's Traditional Association held a New Year's gathering to celebrate the beginning of the Year of the Goat 2015.

The 654th Transport Regiment – Logistics Department was established on March 3, 1977. The regiment is a standing combat-ready force within the basic formation of Military Region IV, with the primary mission of supporting combat readiness and economic development of the military region. Over the years, under the leadership and guidance of Military Region IV, the Party Committee and command of the Logistics Department, and the Party Committee and command of the 654th Regiment, the unit has successfully completed all assigned tasks and achieved many accomplishments in serving combat, national defense, and national construction.

At the gathering, generations of officers and soldiers of the 654th Transport Regiment recalled the glorious history of the Vietnam People's Army, Military Region IV, and the Regiment, and performed songs praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and the heroic Vietnam People's Army.
