Meet the female student from Do Luong who is the only one in the province to get a perfect score of 10 in the combined exam

Sharing her joy after learning the results of her 10th grade entrance exam, Thuy Linh confided: “I didn’t think I would get a perfect score on the combined test. When I received the score sheet sent by my friend, I was quite surprised and happy because I got a perfect score on the combined test.”

Linh thinks that the recent 10th grade entrance exam was not too difficult for her, generally within her ability, "if you have a solid grasp of the knowledge, you can do the test". As for the combined exam, although it was new, because she studied regularly and carefully in all subjects, she did not encounter any difficulties. The results of Linh's 3 exams were Math: 9.5, Literature: 8, Combined: 10.

It is known that Thuy Linh is the first child in a family where both parents are teachers. Her father teaches Math, her mother teaches Literature. Linh quite likes Math but did not get a perfect score in this subject, so after the exam "she was a bit confused".

From grade 1 to grade 5, Linh was an outstanding student. For 4 consecutive years, she was an excellent student at Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School. Linh won third prize in the district-level online English competition in primary school, second prize in Math and an encouragement prize in Information Technology in the district-level excellent student competition in grade 9.

According to some teachers, it is not uncommon for excellent students to get high scores in the recent 10th grade entrance exam, but it is quite difficult to get a score of 10 in the combined exam. This is the first time Nghe An province has used the combined exam (Foreign Language - Biology - Civic Education) in the form of multiple choice with 50 questions, 90 minutes to complete. To get a high score in this exam, candidates must study well and have a solid grasp of all 3 subjects.

Thuy Linh said that before the exam, she tried very hard to review, diligently practiced the questions from her teachers at school, her father, and often went online to collect and learn more knowledge.

"I don't aim to get a perfect score on the test, I just focus on studying, especially mastering the knowledge to take the test" - Linh shared.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Nguyen - Linh's father said: "Linh is a good child, full of affection, knows how to care for everyone in the family and always has a sense of progress. She has a talent for Math and is very studious. In the combined exam, she was the only one in the province to get a score of 10, so the family was a bit surprised."

Talking about his student, Mr. Le Xuan Diep - homeroom teacher of class 9A, Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School excitedly shared: "Linh is a good student in all aspects, always ranked at the top in the school's quality assessment exams, so I was not surprised when she got high scores in the recent exam, including the combined exam with a score of 10".

Enrolled in Do Luong 1 High School and was the top student in the school in the recent exam, Linh is preparing for a new school year with the dream of "trying to study hard to become a police officer in the future".
