Garnacho rebels, MU reduces price shockingly, Chelsea joins in
According to some sources, Manchester United have offered Chelsea a new transfer fee if they want to recruit Alejandro Garnacho this summer.
The Argentine player is on the list of names that coach Ruben Amorim wants to sell to streamline the squad and make way for new players.

Previously, MU said goodbye to Christian Eriksen, Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans after the season ended. Along with Garnacho, names like Rashford, Sancho and Antony were also put up for sale.
Garnacho, once a bright prospect at Old Trafford, now has no future under Amorim. Last season, the 20-year-old was inconsistent and failed to impress on the training pitch, to the point that he was dropped for the Manchester derby in December along with Rashford. Amorim publicly told the squad before the final game of the season that Garnacho would be leaving.
Since January, MU has been negotiating with many clubs about selling Garnacho, including Chelsea and Napoli. Although initially wanting to collect 60 million pounds, the Red Devils are now accepting a more realistic price of 40 million pounds, according to the Daily Mirror.

Partners know that MU wants to sell, weakening the Old Trafford team's negotiating position, and Garnacho himself is also said to be ready to leave.
Garnacho recently angered United fans by posting a photo of himself wearing an Aston Villa shirt while on vacation in Ibiza. Although the club did not comment, this action is believed to have made the board more determined to sell him. Previously, Garnacho had criticized coach Amorim's tactics after losing to Tottenham in the Europa League final.
If Garnacho is sold, MU will earn 100% profit according to the tournament's financial regulations because he is a player who has grown up in the academy. The same situation happens with Rashford, but the destination is currently unknown because the Catalan team is about to sign Nico Williams.
