Fight and kill two people while waiting for wife's parents

On the morning of August 26, Dong Anh District Police, Hanoi, announced that they had detained Pham Quoc Hung (36 years old, from Lao Cai) to investigate the murder.

Previously, on August 25, Hung took his wife and children to his maternal home in Ngoc Chi village, Vinh Ngoc commune, Dong Anh district to play.

At 10 p.m. the same day, while standing outside the gate of his wife's parents' house waiting for his wife and children to come out, he saw Hoang Van Tien (52 years old) and Nguyen Huu Toan (47 years old), both from Ngoc Chi village, Vinh Ngoc commune, Dong Anh district, in a drunken state...

Seeing Hung, Toan and Tien loudly asked, “Who are you that you are still standing here at this hour…”, at the same time, both of them rushed to push Hung, forcing him to run to Highway 23A. Toan and Tien chased after him and threw bricks and rocks from the roadside at Hung.

Seeing her husband being chased and beaten, Ms. Huyen (Hung's wife) hugged her child and ran after him to stop him and knelt down to beg Toan and Tien to spare her husband, but to no avail. Being cornered and beaten, Hung suddenly pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed Tien and Toan repeatedly.

Although Toan and Tien were taken to the emergency room, they died due to their severe injuries. After committing the crime, Hung fled and was persuaded by the police to surrender this morning (August 26).
