According to the investigation agency, from the beginning of March 2017, Mr. Nguyen Son Giang (37 years old, Phuong's husband) went to work for a bee farm in An Binh commune (Long Ho district). On the morning of March 19, Mr. Giang's wife came to visit so she took him out. When they got home, the two got into an argument. At this time, Mr. Giang went out to buy cigarettes and answered the phone. Phuong was jealous because she suspected her husband had a lover so she continued to argue.

The husband was slashed nearly 20 times.

That night, Giang left his wife to sleep in bed while he slept in the hammock. Late that night, Phuong grabbed a knife and repeatedly slashed her husband. Giang escaped and asked someone to take him to the emergency room. After committing the crime, Phuong called everyone in her husband's family to inform them of the incident and fled.

After receiving emergency treatment from doctors, Mr. Giang is now out of danger. It is known that in their married life, Mr. Giang and Mr. Phuong often argued.
