Jealous of people with cars, the guy broke a series of rearview mirrors
Long told the police that he had no job so he felt inferior and jealous of rich people who had cars, so he acted to vent his anger.
Regarding the incident in which a young man recklessly drove and used a machete to smash dozens of car rearview mirrors in Ho Chi Minh City at noon on October 28, at the police station that evening, the subject confessed to being Nguyen Dinh Long, 32 years old, residing in Thanh Da residential area, Ward 27, Binh Thanh District (Ho Chi Minh City).

The subject also confessed to using stimulants before taking a machete to slash a series of rearview mirrors of cars running on the road.
Initial test results showed that Long tested positive for drugs. Regarding the reason for his aggressive behavior of using a machete to slash a series of car windows, Long confessed that because he had no job, he felt inferior and jealous of the wealthy people who had cars, so he acted to vent his anger.

Earlier, at noon on October 28, a clip appeared on Facebook recording a scene of a young man brazenly using a machete to smash the rearview mirrors of dozens of cars running on the road in Ho Chi Minh City. The incident occurred on Dinh Bo Linh and Nguyen Huu Canh streets (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City).
The subject was a young man riding an Attila motorbike with license plate number 52P3-66.29, not wearing a helmet, using a machete to randomly slash many rearview mirrors of cars running on the road. A victim said: "This young man went from Binh Trieu bridge to District 1, when he reached Dinh Bo Linh street, he started using a machete to smash about 20 rearview mirrors of cars, including Mercedes and Lexus".

Because the subject used a machete and showed signs of being high on drugs, everyone was afraid and no one dared to intervene. Immediately after committing the series of dangerous acts on the street, the subject turned back to Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street, went to Highway 13 and threw the homemade machete there.
