Silver price today May 14, 2025: Domestic and world silver prices increased sharply again by nearly 50,000 VND after yesterday's decrease. The reason is that the US CPI index decreased lower than expected.
Surveyed at 4:30 this morning, today's silver price May 14, 2025 at Phu Quy Gold and Gemstone Group, Phu Quy silver price is listed at 1,273,000 VND/tael (buy) and 1,312,000 VND/tael (sell). Compared to yesterday, the silver price increased by 44,000 VND/tael in the buying direction - increased by 45,000 VND/tael in the selling direction.
In addition, according to a survey at other trading locations in Hanoi, domestic silver prices increased by VND5,000/tael in both buying and selling directions, currently listed at VND1,041,000/tael (buy) and VND1,071,000/tael (sell).
In Ho Chi Minh City, silver prices increased by VND5,000/tael for buying and VND4,000/tael for selling, currently at VND1,043,000/tael (buying) and VND1,076,000/tael (selling).

Silver Price Forecast
Silver (XAG/USD) price resumed its bullish momentum today, the rally is showing bullish signals from a technical perspective as silver is still moving within a rising channel pattern on the daily chart.
The 14-day RSI has crossed above 50, indicating a clear bullish trend. Meanwhile, silver has crossed above both the 9-day and 50-day EMAs, indicating that the short-term bullish momentum remains strong.
On the upside, if the bullish momentum is sustained, XAG/USD could head towards $33.69, a six-week high set on April 24. A break above this level could see further buying pressure push the price closer to the seven-month high of $34.59, hit on March 28.
On the other hand, if the price corrects, the nearest support level is at the 9-day EMA at around $32.71, followed by the 50-day EMA at $32.50. A break of both of these levels could weaken the current uptrend, with silver prices likely to fall back to the eight-month low of $28.00, recorded on April 7.
