Coffee prices today, March 10, 2025: A week of volatile increases.
Today, March 10th, domestic coffee prices are at 129,000 - 129,800 VND/kg. Coffee prices have increased slightly by 100 - 1500 VND/kg compared to last week, despite a decrease of 5,000 VND in the last three trading sessions of the week.
Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region today, March 10, 2025, remain unchanged compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 129,000 and 129,800 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Dak Nong province are buying coffee at the highest price of 129,800 VND/kg. This remains unchanged from yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Lak province remains unchanged from yesterday at 129,800 VND/kg.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province remained unchanged, trading at 129,600 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices remained unchanged at 129,000 VND/kg.

Although coffee prices dropped by 5000 VND/kg over the past three days of the weekend, overall, coffee prices this past week were still higher than the previous week.
Specifically, coffee prices in Lam Dong province saw the sharpest increase, rising by 1,500 VND/kg compared to the previous week. Meanwhile, coffee prices in Gia Lai province only increased slightly by 100 VND/kg compared to the previous week. In Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces, coffee prices increased by 300 VND/kg compared to the previous week.
Coffee prices surged to a record high of 135,000 VND/kg on March 5th. The main reason was news that coffee inventories in Brazil had fallen to a record low, raising concerns about supply. However, in the following days, prices dropped sharply following positive weather news. Both Brazil and Vietnam recorded rainfall, easing concerns about global supply.
World coffee prices today
Despite market volatility, world coffee prices still recorded a slight increase compared to last week.
On the London Stock Exchange, robusta coffee futures for May 2025 delivery closed the week at $5,353 per ton, up $23 per ton (0.4%). The July 2025 contract also rose $28 per ton (0.5%), to $5,318 per ton.
On the New York Stock Exchange, arabica coffee prices rose sharply. The May 2025 contract increased by 3% (equivalent to 11.4 US cents/pound), to 384.4 US cents/pound. The July 2025 contract increased by 3.5% (12.7 US cents/pound), closing at 377.4 US cents/pound.
The volatility of the US dollar over the past week has impacted the coffee market. The Brazilian Real appreciated by 2.6% against the US dollar in the first week of March, contributing to supporting international coffee prices.
As Brazil's Carnival holiday draws to a close, production and exports in the country are expected to increase. This could impact global coffee supply in the near future.
