World coffee prices today

Coffee prices on the world market also increased sharply and set new peaks last week.

On the London exchange, the online price of robusta coffee for March 2025 delivery closed on February 15 at $5,735/ton, up 3.1% ($174/ton) from the end of last week; the May 2025 delivery contract increased 2.9% ($162/ton), reaching $5,726/ton.

Last week, Arabica coffee prices hit an all-time high of 438.9 US cents/pound on February 14 and Robusta hit a record of 5,817 USD/ton on February 13.

Coffee prices have fallen due to profit-taking. After coffee prices hit a record high last week, investors rushed to sell to preserve profits.

The latest report shows that coffee production in Brazil and Vietnam may increase again in the next crop year, causing speculators to adjust their expectations.

In addition, the stronger US dollar also puts downward pressure on commodity prices, including coffee.

Although coffee prices are showing signs of adjustment, experts say the market still has many potential risks because actual supply has not improved significantly.
