Coffee prices today, September 19th, are at 115,800 - 116,700 VND/kg, continuing a sharp decline of 4,200 to 4,800 VND/kg. This is a rare and significant fluctuation in the coffee market.
Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region today, September 19, 2025, continued to fall sharply by 4200 to 4800 VND/kg compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 115,800 and 116,700 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in the former Dak Nong region are buying coffee at a maximum of 116,700 VND/kg, a sharp decrease of 4,800 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Lak province is 116,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 4,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province decreased by 4800 VND/kg compared to yesterday and are trading at 116,200 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, the price of coffee decreased by 4200 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 115,800 VND/kg.
Domestic dealers had already warned of a downward trend as the market saw domestic prices rising slowly but falling faster than international listed prices. Foreign customers were no longer willing to buy on the spot at high prices, but instead placed orders for longer terms with significant discounts compared to the market price.
Expert Nguyen Quang Binh described the recent trading session as "unprecedented" due to the extremely rapid sell-off, especially in Arabica coffee. This is considered one of the rare and significant fluctuations in the coffee market.
Domestically, the difference between the buying and selling price of coffee usually only fluctuates around 500 VND/kg. However, with daily fluctuations of several thousand VND, many traders are forced to observe from the sidelines to avoid significant risks from this instability.
World coffee prices today
At the close of trading on September 18th, on the London exchange, the online price of robusta coffee futures contracts for September 2025 delivery reached 4665 USD/ton, down 0.06% (3 USD/ton) compared to yesterday. The November 2025 futures contract decreased by 0.07% (3 USD/ton), to 4447 USD/ton.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery rose 1.38% (5.2 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 380.85 US cents/pound. The March 2026 contract increased 1.11% (3.95 US cents/pound), reaching 361.25 US cents/pound.
On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for September 2025 delivery fell 0.76% (3.55 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, to 458.35 US cents/pound. The December 2025 contract decreased 0.74% (3.45 US cents/pound), reaching 456.15 US cents/pound.
