Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices today, June 26, 2025, in the Central Highlands region suddenly dropped, fluctuating between 94,500 - 95,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Dak Lak province are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 95,000 VND/kg. A sharp decrease of 4,200 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, coffee price in Dak Nong province is 95,000 VND/kg, down 4,200 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province decreased by VND4,500/kg compared to yesterday and were traded at VND94,500/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices decreased by VND4,500/kg compared to yesterday and are at VND94,500/kg.

Domestic coffee prices have now fallen below the 100,000 VND/kg mark, a psychologically important level that has been maintained for many weeks. This is a signal that downward pressure on prices is becoming increasingly evident in the domestic market.
Faced with this downward trend, in the past 10 days, many farmers have chosen to sell off their coffee because they are worried that prices will continue to fall. However, many people remain calm, saying that although prices have dropped by about 40,000 VND/kg compared to the peak, they are still making a profit so they are not in a hurry to sell.
On a more positive note, data from the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA) shows that coffee exports are growing impressively. In the first half of June 2025, Vietnam exported more than 51,284 tons of green coffee beans, reaching a turnover of 271 million USD. Compared to the same period last year, export volume increased by 32.5%, while value increased sharply by 71%.
Robusta coffee continues to dominate with an output of 46,955 tons, bringing in 240.6 million USD. The increase is 44.8% in volume and 80.4% in value compared to the same period in 2024, showing the strong appeal of this type of coffee in the international market.

Analysts say the current decline in coffee prices shows no signs of stopping. The main reasons are favorable weather in Brazil, increased harvest output and the profit-taking psychology of speculators that continues to dominate the market.
It is forecasted that the coffee market will hardly see positive changes in the near future when the new crop from Brazil is continuously brought to the market. However, some factors such as frost in Brazil or the weakening of the USD can create support for coffee prices in the short term.
In the context of abundant supply, no sudden increase in consumption demand, plus the impact of geopolitical conflicts in many places, investors have withdrawn capital from coffee to switch to other assets such as gold and oil. This has also contributed to the sharp decline in coffee prices in recent times.
The industry body forecasts global coffee production in 2025/26 to increase to 171.1 million bags, shifting the market from a deficit of 900,000 bags to a surplus of 1.4 million bags. However, the coffee harvest in Brazil is currently slower than last year, with only 24.3% of the output harvested as of June 20, compared to 34.2% at the same time in 2024, a factor that could have some impact on supply in the short term.
