Coffee prices today, September 27th, are at 112,200 - 113,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 1,000 to 1,600 VND/kg. Robusta and Arabica coffee prices on both exchanges have risen sharply again.
Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region at 4:00 AM today, September 27, 2025, have reversed course and decreased by 1000 to 1600 VND/kg compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 112,200 and 113,000 VND/kg. The average coffee price is currently around 112,900 VND/kg. Specifically:
Accordingly, traders in Lam Dong province are buying coffee at the highest price of 112,200 to 113,000 VND/kg, a sharp decrease of 1,000 to 1,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Lak province is 113,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 1,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province decreased by 1600 VND/kg compared to yesterday and are trading at 112,600 VND/kg.
Domestic coffee trading is relatively quiet as farmers are holding back their stock awaiting the new harvest, leading to a shortage of supply. Meanwhile, favorable weather conditions in Indonesia are helping coffee plants thrive, creating expectations for a good yield in the upcoming crop year.
On September 26, 2025, the first Vietnam-China Coffee Festival opened in Mengzi City, Yunnan Province (China), and will last until September 28. Several Vietnamese businesses are participating in this event to seek opportunities to expand their market.
Following US tariff measures, China is becoming a target market for many coffee-producing countries. Recently, 183 Brazilian companies have been granted export licenses by China, opening a wide door for Brazilian coffee to access this populous market.
Despite its geographical proximity, Vietnam's coffee exports to China remain relatively modest, reaching only about 50,000 tons per year out of a total export value of over 1 million tons.
In the first eight months of 2025, Vietnam exported nearly 34,000 tons to China, a decrease of 8% compared to the same period last year. However, August showed positive signs with over 4,500 tons, an increase of 31% compared to July and a slight increase of 1.4% compared to the same period in 2024.
World coffee prices today
At the close of trading on September 26th, on the London exchange, the price of robusta coffee futures for November 2025 delivery reached $4189 per ton, up 2.32% ($95 per ton) from yesterday. The January 2026 futures contract increased by 2.01% ($82 per ton), reaching $4164 per ton.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery rose 2.24% (8.3 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 379.65 US cents/pound. The March 2026 contract increased 2.5% (8.8 US cents/pound), reaching 360.25 US cents/pound.
On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery rose 2.16% (9.55 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 452.45 US cents/pound. The March 2026 contract increased 2.21% (9.7 US cents/pound), reaching 447.8 US cents/pound.
