The global coffee market is expected to face difficulties in 2024 as production declines in both Brazil and Vietnam. Some analysts warn that the market could fall into a fifth consecutive year of shortage, leading to further increases in coffee prices.

According to Dak Nong Newspaper, in 2024, the province's coffee export output will not meet the plan due to reduced consumption demand. However, thanks to the sharp increase in prices, export turnover is estimated to reach 280 million USD, an increase of 70.6% compared to 2023. Coffee accounts for about 28% of the province's total export turnover.

Dak Nong coffee is exported to many major markets such as Singapore, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Japan, Korea, Canada, China and Switzerland. Many businesses in the province such as Olam Vietnam, Intimex Dak Nong and Hong Duc are actively participating in processing and exporting coffee to the world.
