In October 2025, the export turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products reached nearly 6 billion USD, bringing the total value in the first 10 months of the year to 58.13 billion USD, up nearly 13% over the same period. Despite many fluctuations in the world economy, Vietnam's agricultural sector has maintained a stable growth momentum.

Coffee continued to be a bright spot, reaching a turnover of 7.41 billion USD in 10 months, up nearly 62% over the same period in 2024. The average export price reached 5,653 USD/ton, the highest level in many years, helping to significantly increase value even though output did not increase sharply.

Coffee prices have increased due to reduced global supply and increased demand from Europe. This is a great advantage for Vietnamese coffee as it can take advantage of good prices to increase its turnover and position in the international market.

The Ministry of Agriculture forecasts that by 2025, the total export turnover of the whole industry could exceed 65 billion USD. However, it is necessary to continue to improve quality, expand markets and effectively respond to trade risks, price fluctuations and weather.

VICOFA Chairman Nguyen Nam Hai said it would be difficult for coffee prices to remain high because production is increasing. However, forecasting prices is not easy due to the impact of climate change, financial speculation and exchange rates.

Thanks to high prices over the past two years, farmers have invested more in care and new planting. Vietnam’s coffee output in the 2025–2026 crop year could increase by 5–10%, while Brazil is also forecast to have a good crop if the weather is favorable.

Despite the increase in output, the price of green coffee beans is not expected to fluctuate too much this year. The price is likely to remain around 100,000 VND/kg, creating relative stability for the domestic coffee market.
