Pretending to be police, kidnapping 3 young men

Hearing that the landlord of the place where they were drinking wanted to find people to work on a fishing boat, the Black group pretended to be police officers and blocked the road, arrested 3 young men, brought them to the motel and forced them to work as crew members.

On September 27, Chau Thanh District Police (Kien Giang) detained Le Van Den (23 years old), Nguyen Van Truong (26 years old, residing in Hon Dat), Danh Luom (17 years old), Ly Be Ngoan, Nguyen Van Hung and Ho Van Dien (both 16 years old, residing in Giong Rieng District) for the crime of illegal detention.

Before that, on the night of August 21, while Den was drinking with friends in Minh Luong town, Chau Thanh district, he heard the homeowner say that they were in dire need of people to work on fishing boats at sea.

Around 11pm, Den's group spotted three young men walking in Hon Dat town, so they blocked their way. After refusing to join them for a drink, Den introduced himself as a police officer and asked to check their papers.

Because Danh Tam, Danh Con and Danh Chanh did not bring their ID cards, they were taken away by Den's group.

The victims thought the "police" were taking them to a real police station, but when they got there, they found themselves in a motel. Den and his accomplices forced the victims to work as fishing crew members, but were unsuccessful.

The next morning, taking advantage of the guards' negligence, Tam, Con, and Chanh escaped and went to Chau Thanh district police station to denounce Den.
