(Baonghean.vn) – On the afternoon of January 28 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), Mr. Ly and Mrs. Thoai from Nam Xai village, Quang Phong commune, Que Phong district (Nghe An) went to visit their grandmother in Quy Chau and discovered that the house and all of their belongings had burned down.

At around 5:00 p.m. on January 28 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), the house of Mr. Vi Van Ly (born in 1987), residing in Nam Xai village, Quang Phong commune, Que Phong district, suddenly caught fire. The fire burned down the roof of the house and all of his family's belongings such as clothes, furniture, bedding, etc. were burned.
Mr. Ly said that at 8:00 a.m., his family went to visit his grandmother in Quy Chau. At around 5:00 p.m., people called to inform him that his house was on fire. At that time, he and his wife and children drove home and the fire was put out by neighbors. However, almost all of Mr. Ly's family's property was burned.

It is known that before going to the fire, Mr. Ly's family's kitchen did not have a fire. Nam Xai village does not have electricity, so Mr. Ly's family used electricity. However, the area that caught fire also did not have any electrical equipment.
“Mr. Vi Van Ly and Ms. Luong Thi Thoa are poor households in the village. Knowing that their family had burned down, everyone brought their belongings to them for temporary use” – A resident of Nam Xai village said.
