Gas price increased by 5,000 VND/cylinder from June 1

On May 30, gas companies PetroVN Gas, Saigon Petro, Gia Dinh Gas... in Ho Chi Minh City announced that retail gas prices will increase by VND5,000/12kg cylinder from June 1.

Accordingly, the retail gas price in Ho Chi Minh City is commonly at 396,000 - 399,000 VND/cylinder. Meanwhile, Petrolimex Gas Company adjusted the price up by 4,000 VND/cylinder.

According to companies, the reason for the increase in retail gas prices is that the world imported gas price closed at 835 USD/ton, an increase of 17.5 USD/ton compared to May.
