Pig price in the North

In the Northern region, the price of live pigs fluctuated slightly, with the purchase price ranging from 64,000 to 66,000 VND per kilogram.

The price of live pigs is stable at an average of 65,000 VND/kg according to traders in most provinces and cities.

Tuyen Quang is the only province that recorded a slight increase of VND1,000/kg, bringing the price of live pigs here to the highest level in the region, at VND66,000/kg.

Pig price in Central Highlands

Pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions recorded a slight decrease of VND1,000/kg, ranging from VND61,000 to VND64,000/kg.

Dak Lak, Ninh Thuan, and Binh Thuan all decreased by VND1,000/kg, to VND61,000, VND62,000, and VND63,000/kg, respectively.

Other localities in this region maintained stable pig prices, unchanged from the previous trading session.

Pig price in the South

Pig prices in the southern provinces are currently showing a slight downward trend, with a decrease of about 1,000 VND/kg.

The common transaction price of live pigs in this area ranges from 61,000 VND to 64,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, Vinh Long has the lowest price, only 61,000 VND/kg. Ben Tre recorded a live pig price of 62,000 VND/kg.

In Ho Chi Minh City, Kien Giang and Soc Trang, the price of live pigs is stable at 63,000 VND/kg.

Tay Ninh and An Giang, the two provinces with the highest buying prices, with live pig prices at 64,000 VND/kg.
