The whirlwind of “dancing” pig prices is also an opportunity for the relevant authorities to review the recent livestock situation; the limitations and shortcomings of small-scale livestock farming methods. On that basis, there are solutions to restructure the pig farming industry in a sustainable direction, contributing positively to the socio-economic development of localities.

At the same time, improve the effectiveness of state management of food safety, improve the effectiveness of product quality inspection, supervise the transportation and consumption of agricultural products and food. Promote support for production and consumption, develop distribution channels, and expand the market for safe food.

Faced with recent fluctuations in the pork consumption market, localities and farmers need to turn difficulties into opportunities to restructure the pig farming industry, form cooperatives and livestock cooperatives or large-scale livestock farm models, linked along the value chain, and safely.
