Fresh rubber latex price increased by more than 2 million VND/ton

Rubber latex dealers in the Southeast region said that the price of fresh rubber latex is fluctuating between 4,500 - 12,000 VND/kg, an increase of 1 - 2.5 million VND/ton compared to early September 2016.

Specifically, the price of liquid rubber latex in Binh Phuoc increased from 6,720 VND/kg to 7,040 VND/kg and 7,400 VND/kg for 32-degree mixed latex.

The reason for the increase in fresh rubber latex prices is that some major natural rubber producing countries have reduced their exploitation because the latex price has been too cheap recently, sometimes only 2/3 of the current price. In addition, the export market for natural rubber products has stabilized, mainly exported to the Chinese market because the demand for automobile tire production in this market has increased slightly.

Since the latest bottom in mid-June 2016, world rubber prices have increased by approximately 20%.
