Pi price on OKX exchange on May 7, 2025 is fluctuating around the price from 0.5756 USD to 0.5939 USD (equivalent to 14,950 VND to 15,410 VND). Thus, at the time of writing, Pi price on OKX exchange decreased by 1.6% compared to yesterday, reaching 15,060 VND
According to BeInCrypto analysis, the daily chart of the PI/USD pair shows that the cryptocurrency may be about to enter a new bull run. A positive sign is that the on-balance volume (OBV) indicator has increased sharply in the past two days, suggesting that accumulation is underway soon.
OBV is a volume-based technical indicator used to predict price trends. When buying volume is dominant in bullish sessions, the OBV will rise, indicating increased buying pressure. Conversely, OBV will fall if trading volume is predominantly in bearish sessions.
It is worth noting that OBV often reflects changes in market sentiment earlier than price movements. Therefore, the fact that Pi Network's OBV is increasing even though the price has not fluctuated much shows that buyers are quietly accumulating tokens, creating the premise for a breakout.
The divergence signal between OBV and the current price shows that bullish momentum is forming, and if market sentiment continues to improve, the possibility of Pi rising sharply in the near future is completely grounded.

Pi price drops sharply, many investors disappointed
Many people had expected the price of Pi Network to increase sharply after being listed on the exchange, but now many investors are disappointed. The mainnet unlocking has been continuously delayed, causing Pi to continue to decrease in price.
Some people who once owned a large amount of Pi, such as 15,000 Pi worth nearly 1.2 billion VND at its peak, now just know to "wait for the right time". Meanwhile, others promptly sold early to avoid the risk of losing everything if Pi plummeted to 0 price.
GFI Research expert Andrew Hong said there are three main reasons why Pi price has dropped sharply and has not been able to recover. First, the amount of Pi unlocked is increasing, in April alone, more than 21 million Pi coins were released to the market, creating great pressure on the seller.
Second, Pi is not listed on major exchanges like Binance, making liquidity poor and making it difficult for investors to place their trust.
Ultimately, the project still lacks a clear development roadmap, has no specific practical applications, and has no cash flow to support it.
On forums, many long-time players also warn about tricks to invite verification or buy Pi that show signs of fraud. The lack of transparency about the operating model, combined with weak liquidity and no specific products, makes Pi Network increasingly suspicious.
Some regulators, like China, have also issued warnings about the risks of this project.
Therefore, experts say investors need to be extremely careful, especially those who join the trend without thorough research.
