Binh Phuoc agriculture is witnessing strong growth in organic pepper cultivation. Farmers switching to organic production are reaping success with high productivity, good quality and environmental protection.
In major pepper growing areas such as Loc Ninh and Bu Dop, organic farming has resulted in lush pepper gardens and higher prices. Nguyen Van Ha, Chairman of the Farmers’ Association of Loc Hiep Commune, said organic farming has helped improve the status of pepper. Most organic farming households have a stable income and a healthy life from pepper cultivation.
Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Loc Ninh District, Mr. Hoang Ngoc Anh, emphasized the need to strengthen propaganda so that farmers can continue to produce sustainable organic pepper. Pepper products need to ensure quality to maintain the brand and meet export requirements. The Farmers' Association is cooperating with relevant units to support farmers and businesses, aiming to develop quality pepper products and a traceability system for "Loc Ninh Pepper" products.
