In reality, not only in schools or research institutes where a doctorate is needed to serve the public, but in any agency in the public apparatus, having a doctorate will help one achieve titles and benefits more easily and in greater numbers.

Even though daily leadership and management work is not related to or necessary for a doctorate degree. Because sometimes the major trained has nothing to do with the assigned position and tasks. But with that degree, it is much easier to structure the apparatus, and it is much easier for leaders and managers. And once you have power, money will come right away. Therefore, in our country, people compete to get a doctorate degree not to equip themselves with more knowledge, to better serve their work, but to have an additional tool to support making money easier and more effectively.

Because of this concept, people are willing to spend a lot of money to “buy” that “support tool”. This is similar to a farmer saving up to buy a tractor to help increase productivity in the fields, to earn more money. If there is a purchase, there must be a sale. People sell openly through evaluation boards. Therefore, to get a doctorate degree now, one must spend several hundred million, sometimes up to half a billion. To tell the truth, if a doctorate in our country only satisfies academic needs without opening the way to access money and power, perhaps even if it were given away for free, few people would want to receive it, let alone spend money and effort to buy it.
