In the international market, gold prices are at their lowest level in nearly two months. Spot gold prices fell 0.7% to $2,600.93/ounce at 2:23 a.m. on November 13 (Hanoi time), and at one point fell as much as 1% to $2,589.59/ounce. Despite the short-term downtrend, Daniel Pavilonis, strategist at RJO Futures, believes that gold still has long-term upside potential. With the possibility of rising inflation due to US policy, gold could benefit. Technically, Pavilonis predicts the market is preparing for a new rally with support around $2,600 an ounce.
