Gold price reaches 69 million VND/tael; Domestic coffee price improves

Gold prices 9999, SJC, DOJI, PNJ, 24K continue to increase

Today, the price of 9999, SJC, DOJI, PNJ, 24K gold continued to increase. World gold prices increased in the context of a slight decrease in the US dollar.

At the time of survey at 5:30 a.m. on September 19, 2023, the gold price on the trading floors of some companies was as follows:

DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 68.15 million VND/tael for buying and 69.05 million VND/tael for selling.

At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, at the time of survey, the listed price of SJC gold was at 68.40 - 68.75 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 68.33 - 68.95 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 68.33 - 68.95 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

USD price recorded strong increase

The central USD/VND exchange rate today (September 19) was announced by the State Bank at 24,046 VND/USD, an increase of 33 VND compared to the listed rate on September 18.

USD exchange rate, USD/VND exchange rate, black market USD price, VCB USD recorded a strong increase. Accordingly, the buying-selling price at Vietcombank increased by 105 VND.

Currently, the USD exchange rate that commercial banks are allowed to trade is from 23,400 - 25,163 VND/USD. The selling exchange rate is also adjusted by the State Bank of Vietnam to the buying and selling range of 23,400 - 25,163 VND/USD.

The USD exchange rate at banks and domestic foreign exchange rates this morning recorded a series of upward adjustments at banks. Specifically, Vietcombank increased 105 VND for the buying price of 24,190 and the selling price of 24,530. The buying and selling prices of USD are currently in the range of 23,400 - 25,300 VND/USD.

Japanese Yen exchange rate increased simultaneously at banks

Japanese Yen exchange rate surveyed on the morning of September 19, 2023 at banks, specifically as follows:

At Vietcombank, the buying rate is 160.87 VND/JPY and the selling rate is 170.32 VND/JPY, up 0.43 VND and 0.46 VND, respectively. At Vietinbank, the Yen rate increased by 0.89 VND in both buying and selling, equivalent to 160.87 VND/JPY and 170.57 VND/JPY. At BIDV, the buying rate increased by 0.5 VND and the selling rate increased by 0.52 VND to 161.25 VND/JPY and 169.61 VND/JPY. At Agribank, the buying and selling rates were 162.51 VND/JPY and 166.54 VND/JPY, up 0.42 VND in both buying and selling.

At Eximbank, the buying and selling rates increased by 0.98 VND and 1.45 VND, respectively, to 162.64 VND/JPY and 167.23 VND/JPY. At Techcombank, the Japanese Yen rate increased by 0.94 VND and 1.01 VND, respectively, to 158.36 VND/JPY and 170.72 VND/JPY. At Sacombank, the Japanese Yen rate increased by 0.99 VND, corresponding to 162.59 VND/JPY, and by 1.04 VND, corresponding to 169.16 VND/JPY.

According to the survey, Sacombank is the bank with the highest buying rate of Japanese Yen and Agribank is the bank with the lowest selling rate among the banks.

Domestic coffee prices improve

Coffee prices were updated at 4:20 a.m. on September 19, 2023 as follows: Domestic coffee prices continue to improve and are at a high level, the average coffee price in the Central Highlands provinces is 67,700 VND/kg. In which, the highest purchase price in Dak Nong province is 68,200 VND/kg, all provinces have increased prices by 200-300 VND/kg.

Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces on September 18, 2023 was VND 67,600/kg. In Dak Nong province, coffee was purchased at the highest price of VND 68,200/kg.

The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, coffee is purchased at 67,200 VND/kg.

In Cu M'gar district, Dak Lak province, coffee price is currently at 67,800 VND/kg. In Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it is purchased at the same price of 67,700 VND/kg.
