Gold demand in India continues to rise. Based on government data, gold imports into India in November 2024 reached a record high, the World Gold Council (WGC) said.

In the first half of 2025, gold prices are expected to fluctuate between $2,500 and $2,700 per ounce. However, in the second half of the year, experts expect a strong rally that could push gold prices above $3,000 per ounce. Bank of America's forecast also shows that gold prices will continue to stabilize and grow next year.

Based on State Street analysis, gold has a 50% chance of trading between $2,600 and $2,900 an ounce and a 30% chance of hitting $2,900 and $3,100 an ounce. There is only a 20% chance of gold falling below $2,600 an ounce, suggesting an optimistic but still risky outlook.
